Cagliari's new stadium, two months after the green light, the tender remains at a standstill.
Farris blames Zedda for the stalled tender: "Eight unmet schedules. Meanwhile, the draw location is in place, but the sports facility is missing."Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
"The venue for the European Championship draw is there. All that's missing is the tender for the stadium." Giuseppe Farris , councilor for Civica24, jokes and harshly attacks Mayor Massimo Zedda over his handling of the redevelopment of the Sant'Elia stadium and the creation of Unipol Domus Gigi Riva. "Zedda is moving forward with the work and proposing the Roman amphitheater to host the European Championship draw," explains the opposition councilor. "Meanwhile, two months after the city council's approval and eight unmet schedules, we're still waiting for the tender to build the new stadium . Now the city says the project is still being reviewed, but is careful not to indicate a new date."
Farris emphasizes how the facts demonstrate the critical issues and raises several questions: " What objections have been raised? What changes have been requested? Why was an 'extension' necessary, and until when?" Finally, the opposition representative denounces the lack of transparency regarding the preliminary investigation process: " These are the very documents I asked to see and to which I was imprudently denied access. Eight schedules were skipped and there is no transparency regarding the preliminary investigation process . But we can rest assured: we don't yet know when the tender will be issued, but we already know where Zedda wants the draw to take place."
