Serious accident in Cagliari this morning shortly after 8: in Viale Colombo, at the pedestrian crossing in front of Piazza dei Centomila, a 17-year-old girl was hit while she was going to school at Liceo Alberti by a gray Fiat Panda driven by an eighty-two-year-old. The elderly man was apparently blinded by the low sun on the horizon and did not see the girl on the roadway.
The seventeen-year-old was hit very violently and remained on the ground, unconscious.
The 118 staff provided immediate assistance, transporting him to Brotzu with a red code assigned and transferring him to intensive care: the head injuries are very serious, the wound is fighting between life and death.
