Cagliari, vandals in action in the red zone of via Dettori: broken fence and open construction site

The Roman Amphitheater of Cagliari is closed, on the other hand the excavations in via Dettori are open. The construction site that delimits the red zone, established following the collapses in January, was yesterday targeted by a group of vandals .

The fence was torn down both in Piazza Aramu and in Piazzetta Savoia and now that street has become truly dangerous, especially for tourists who look out convinced it is an archaeological find.

Not for the moment, but it will soon become so. In the meantime, it would be a good idea to secure the area and, if anything, guarantee it more surveillance.
