A girl is hospitalized in very serious conditions at Brotzu after being involved in an accident that occurred yesterday evening shortly after 10.30 pm on the Asse Mediano, in Cagliari.
The crash occurred in the "usual" point, at the curve that leads to the overpass that overlooks the roundabout between via Cadello and via Santa Maria Chiara, in the direction of Sestu.
The Fiat 500 was driven by a 21-year-old young man. With him were two friends, aged 23 and 16. All from Quartu. After the collision with the traffic island, the carambola began. The 23-year-old who was in the back seat was thrown outwards and ended up on the asphalt, at a point very far from the impact site. The driver and the other young woman were unharmed: she was not wearing a seat belt, they were.
The young woman was taken to Brotzu by a 118 crew: she is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. The firefighters and local police also intervened on site to investigate.
