Cagliari, they flee from the police checkpoint and throw drugs out the window: stopped after a chase

The car did not stop at the police checkpoint: a chase began from viale Monastir to via Crespellani, in Mulinu Becciu. And during the escape, the person in the car threw a package, which was later recovered by the officers.

Fortunately, despite the reckless and dangerous maneuvers of the fugitives' vehicle, there were no injuries. In the end, the skill and professionalism of the police officers of the Flying Squad of the Cagliari police headquarters allowed them to block the car and arrest the two people inside. The package containing the narcotic substance was also recovered.

Further investigations are underway with searches in the homes of the two arrested: their position will be assessed at the end of all the checks.
