In the Municipality of Cagliari we are already thinking about the feast of Sant'Efisio. The council led by Paolo Truzzu approved the budget for the events of May 1st and for the collateral events. And the first draft for the organization of the procession has arrived, which this year too will be influenced by the cumbersome construction site for the renovation of Via Roma.

The budget for the 368th edition is 632,540 euros. Lower than that expected for Marco Mengoni's concert. The expected expenditures are: 130 thousand euros for the dozens of folk groups, 7 thousand for the organization of collateral events, 30 thousand for the safety and health plan, 81,740 euros are intended for the management of the technical part, 12 thousand for the ticket office and 4,800 will be used to pay the rent of the premises. Again: 245 thousand euros are used for transport, assembly and dismantling of the stands (and more), while 104 thousand euros will go towards sponsoring the event. Finally, 14 thousand will pay for posters and prints.

Revenues of around 65 thousand euros are expected from the sale of tickets for seats in the stands. The region provides 250 thousand while the Municipality will pay the difference: 317 thousand euros.

In the council resolution approving the program it is stated that «in order not to burden excessively the traffic of the area, in consideration of the various construction sites present, the depth of the stands installed along Via Roma will be reduced, recovering, exceptionally, reduced seats with one or more stands in Largo Carlo Felice and in Via Roma".
