The thieves who broke into the premises last night managed to take possession of the money kept in the cash register of the Josè bar, on the ground floor of the town hall in Piazza De Gasperi in Cagliari .

After breaking through the glass door , they entered the bar rummaging through bottles and containers of sweets, then tampering with the till and managing to get their hands on at least two thousand euros , as the managers, the brothers Corrado and Emanuela Picci, tell us.
The thieves then reached the upper floors in an attempt to probably find more money . Instead, they damaged some cabinets and spilled documents on the floor.
It was the ushers who became aware of the raid, who at about a quarter to six opened the Town Hall. On the floor, between the bar and their workstation, packs of sweets scattered in the entrance hall. The patrols of the Flying Squad and the scientific police have arrived in Piazza De Gasperi for the reliefs.
There has been no security guard service in the town hall for some time, as many employees have pointed out.
