The mayor of Cagliari, Paolo Truzzu, also tested positive for Covid-19.

He announced it himself on Facebook.

"What seemed to be just a little tired after a busy week of work turned out to be the virus," he wrote.

“Apart from a few symptoms, I'm fine - he reassures -. I am currently in solitary confinement and from home I will continue to work for our city ”.
