The march in Cagliari against the restrictions of the Security Decree set off without authorization and after some scuffles, it turned into a pro-Palestine and anti-Israel demonstration.

The rally had been called for 5pm in Piazza Garibaldi, with numerous associations that had gathered to protest against the new law, currently being approved, which increases the penalties for roadblocks and makes it more difficult to take to the streets.

A demonstration was planned for the streets of the historic center, with the final destination being Piazza del Carmine, but in the evening – while guerrilla warfare was breaking out in Rome in a similar situation – the communication arrived: the Police Headquarters had not granted the authorizations. The procession was banned.

But the “enclosure” of Piazza Garibaldi, guarded by a large deployment of police forces, was too narrow for the protesters.

First there were clashes with the Mobile Unit officers in riot gear, then the march began in via Garibaldi: here the procession was blocked by vans and the tension rose to the stars.
