The 33-year-old arrested last night by the Radiomobile police for aggravated theft will appear in court in Cagliari today for the very direct trial.

The man, Senegalese and formally resident in Rome but effectively homeless, entered the Rinascente in via Roma and took possession of clothing and perfumes worth over 500 euros. Then he tried to leave without going through the registers.

However, the security personnel had followed and monitored him, in the meantime notifying the police who were waiting for him on the road.

The goods were recovered and returned to the store manager, while the 33-year-old was held all night in the security rooms of the Cagliari Villanova Carabinieri station.
