Fights between foreigners and a financier, not on duty but who intervened to bring calm, blinded with pepper spray.
It happened last night in Piazza Matteotti, Cagliari, around 6:30 pm.
Some immigrants came to blows at the height of a heated argument, the reasons for which are unknown. The soldier tried to separate them, even though he was not wearing a uniform. One of them, in response, sprayed him in the face with pepper spray, which made him lose his sight for a few minutes.
For this reason, those who witnessed the scene called 118. But when the ambulance arrived , the burning sensation had subsided and the financier declined the invitation to get checked out at the hospital. In the meantime, the protagonists of the physical fight had disappeared.
