Cagliari returned to the streets for Ukraine. This afternoon, Piazza Garibaldi hosted a demonstration in support of the population affected by the four-year conflict with Russia, with blue and yellow flags waving and speeches from the steps.
The initiative was promoted by the Ora party, Liberi Oltre, the European Federalist Youth, and the Ukrainian community OCI, with the support of ACLI Cagliari, Pd, Azione, Più Europa, and Italia Viva.
Among those present was journalist Claudio Locatelli, who has been on the Ukrainian front for two years, who provided firsthand testimony of the war and its impact on the civilian population. Also present was Archbishop Giuseppe Baturi, who emphasized the value of peace, Europe's responsibility, and the need to maintain high levels of attention and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
