Prostitutes worked at the massage parlor. The discovery was made by the Cagliari Flying Squad in a location on the central Via Sassari, within the "red zone" established to curb crime and urban decay around Piazza del Carmine.
The complaint was filed against two Chinese women: the charges are exploitation of prostitution and illegal immigration.
The officers were suspicious of the constant comings and goings of men at all hours of the day, consistent with activities other than those declared. Officers from the Widespread Crime Section therefore decided to conduct an inspection, confirming the presence of a massage parlor inside the building, with several rooms occupied by clients.
The investigations allowed us to gather serious evidence against one of the two women, who worked as a cashier and was responsible for welcoming customers and managing payments.
The second, found to be illegal on national territory, was identified as one of the women involved in the activity of "prostitution".
During the search, a "nest egg" was discovered: €10,000 in cash hidden inside a plasterboard attic. The investigations yielded further evidence, including advertisements posted on specialized websites related to prostitution.
The property was seized by order of the Judicial Authority.
