Via Dante in Cagliari, which has been undergoing redevelopment work for some time, will be the subject of a new change to traffic flow at the beginning of next week. The ordinance signed today by the Municipality provides that the section between Via Donizetti and Via Rossini will be temporarily closed to traffic the day after tomorrow, Monday 14 October, from 7:30 to 18:00. The following day, Tuesday 15 with the same times, alternating one-way traffic (regulated by traffic controllers) will be established at the intersection with Via Tola . Traffic disruptions are inevitable.

The reason for the double change to traffic concerns the redevelopment works of the elements that make up the road space, which currently concern the part between the intersections with via Cimarosa and via Rossini with the construction sites on the right side of the roadway (the latter already closed to traffic). For years now, in via Dante there have been numerous construction sites of various kinds, including that for the light metro in the initial part .
