Cagliari, man is carrying 222 packages of saffron stolen from a supermarket in Assemini.
100 euros in cash were also seized from the 44-year-old, an unemployed man known to the police.

He was wandering around the center of Cagliari with 222 packages of saffron stolen last October 15th from a supermarket in Assemini .
A 44-year-old unemployed man living in Cagliari , already known to the police, has been reported at large for the crime of receiving stolen goods.
Carabinieri from the Cagliari Company's Mobile Radio Unit, seeing his suspicious behavior, searched him and found the saffron packets and approximately €100 in cash. These items corresponded to those reported stolen on October 15th by the owner of a supermarket in Assemini .
All the material was seized.
