Cagliari, here is the interior of the temporary market in Piazza Nazzari
The anticipation is growing in view of the move from San Benedetto: the images from the corridors of the structure that will host the garages for at least three yearsGray metal and cubicles that will become boxes. While waiting for the place to come alive with sellers and buyers, for now the internal environment of the temporary market in Piazza Nazzari, in Cagliari, does not seem to spark enthusiasm among the operators.
There isn't a transfer date yet (now we're talking about the end of February), but the anticipation is growing. The move should take place when work begins on the restoration of the old San Benedetto building, for which the final project is still awaited.
Meanwhile, someone went to see the structure that will host the trade for at least three years. The video was published on the Facebook group "Let's save the San Benedetto market".
Boxes and corridors are still bare. It is obvious that they cannot yet be shown to be "attractive", as when all the fittings have been positioned. But someone already has doubts about the size of the spaces intended for sales: «Almost everyone will lose something compared to the surface they have now», an operator intervenes « the undersigned, for example, will go from the current 10 square meters to less than 9. And, mind you, the lanes are very narrow: a few customers waiting to be served will be enough to block everything."
