Night of fights and blood in Cagliari. Shortly before midnight in the area of Piazza del Carmine a fight broke out between two groups of North Africans. The provisional toll speaks of one injured with a stab wound and one arrested.
The dynamics are still unclear. But it is certain that the streets of the center were illuminated by the flashing lights of police cars, carabinieri and ambulances.
The scuffles reportedly began in via Sassari, where the rivals began to face each other. One of the participants was hit by at least one stab to the side: transferred to the Santissima Trinità by 118, his life is not in danger.
Meanwhile, the violence did not stop. While the police rushed to the area, some disappeared while the alleged stabber was stopped in via Crispi, surrounded by carabinieri and police officers: taken to the barracks, he was questioned by the military.
In the meantime, the Carabinieri have announced that in-depth investigations have been launched to reconstruct the dynamics of the episode and to identify all the subjects involved, also with the help of images extracted from the video surveillance systems in the area.
The investigative activity will continue in the next few hours.
"It happens every day now, after 8pm," comments a disconsolate employee of a pizzeria overlooking the street, "it's a den of desperate people."
