City Councilor Giovanni Porrà will be the Alter Nos for the next edition of the Sant'Efisio festival , the 370th. The announcement was made this evening by the mayor of Cagliari, Massimo Zedda, at the end of the City Council meeting.
Porrà turned 34 last month and has been the chair of the Municipal Budget Committee since August 28, 2024, following a unanimous appointment. He will now lead the procession for the feast of Sant'Efisio.
Mayor Zedda announced this at the end of the Council meeting, followed by applause in the chamber: "On the occasion of the 370th celebration in honor of Saint Efisio Martire, the Alter Nos will be Giovanni Porrà." In the last edition, the role fell to Councilor Marzia Cilloccu.
