Five injured, four of whom are in serious condition : this is the toll of the accident which occurred around 6.30 pm on state road 131, just outside Cagliari , which involved several cars and a scooter .

The 118 ambulances were on site and handled the most serious situations. The firefighters and the traffic police are also working to carry out investigations and checks to reconstruct the dynamics and any responsibilities.

The road, in the stretch immediately after Sestu at the junction for the airport and for the state road 131 "dir", was closed and traffic diverted onto the state road 554. Inconveniences were inevitable with the traffic blocked: long queues.

According to an initial reconstruction, a car hit a young man who was on a scooter . Some cars stopped and the people inside went out to provide first aid, but were hit by other vehicles.

The ones who fared the worst were a 40-year-old and a 33-year-old, accompanied by 118 to Brotzu, while a 44-year-old was taken to the Polyclinic. All with a red code assigned: wounds, fractures and serious injuries but none are in danger of life.

Important consequences also for a 50 year old, taken to the Santissima Trinità.

The young man on the scooter, a 21 year old, was transported by 118 to Brotzu for minor injuries.
