Road accident around four o'clock on the state road 131 "dir" at the entrance to Cagliari : a car ended up on a flock of sheep that had invaded the roadway leading to the median axis.

The driver did not suffer serious injuries in the crash while eleven animals died. Extensive damage to the car. Local and traffic police officers were on site.

Vehicles and personnel also intervened to recover the dead sheep. During the operations to clear the road, the 131 "dir" was closed to traffic in the section leading to Cagliari. It took several hours to complete the job.

A problem that recurs too frequently. Now the owner of the flock risks action.
