A couple of Ukrainian tourists and a man from Cagliari were injured in the collision which occurred in the early afternoon in Viale Ferrara , in Cagliari, in the big bend close to the junction for Sant'Elia.

After the initial investigations, further details emerge about the accident. The car in which the foreign couple was traveling appears to have taken the four-lane road in the wrong direction: they were both injured. The most serious, but not in worrying conditions, is the young woman, who suffered fractures and various bruises. The man driving the other vehicle involved suffered minor bruises.

During the frenetic stages of the rescue, the presence of a jackal also became apparent: a young man took the injured girl's handbag and tried to escape. But he was chased by one of the witnesses to the crash, who stopped him and "explained" to him that his act was despicable.

The surveys were carried out by local police officers, who also managed the road system: the repercussions on traffic were inevitable.
