A “suspended gift” for the little patients of the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.
The rossoblù players Gianluca Gaetano and Roberto Piccoli, together with the president of Unicef Sardinia Giuseppe Masnata, the president of Unicef Cagliari Paolo Ligas and the firefighters of the Cagliari command, delivered the gifts to the boys and girls of the structure.
The “Suspended Gift” kits are special gift boxes created by Clementoni for over 2,400 children hosted in hospital facilities and family homes in Italy and for many vulnerable children around the world.
Each box, illustrated by the Roman street artist Merioone and dedicated to the theme of children's rights, contains a game and activity booklet, Memo cards on children's rights, stickers and the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Adolescents in simple words.
"We were honored to take part in this beautiful initiative", Piccoli and Gaetano commented in chorus. "For us, giving a smile and a few moments of joy in the ward is truly exciting, they are moments that represent a privilege and a great emotion, and it is important that a reality like Cagliari Calcio - which unites so many people of all ages in their passion for the red and blues - brings its message and its closeness in certain contexts. Thanks to the children and their families who have sent us their affection, to them our good luck and that of the whole team".
