She attempted to rob a clothing store in the center of Cagliari , but was blocked by some passers-by .
A 41-year-old waitress from Cagliari, already known to the police, was arrested by the police for attempted robbery.
Yesterday the woman entered the clothing store in Viale Regina Margherita , run by a 65-year-old Chinese citizen. He threatened the owner by pointing a cutter with a 25-centimeter blade at her, asking her to deliver the collection. But the owner managed to escape through the back door and, having reached the street, called for help.
The 41-year-old rummaged in the drawers of the shop counter looking for money, then ran away , but was stopped by passers-by.
The carabinieri arrived on the spot and arrested the 41-year-old and seized the cutter.
