The autopsy on the body of Andrea Capone, the forty-three-year-old former Cagliari midfielder found dead yesterday morning inside a suite at the Hotel Palazzo Tirso, has been set for Wednesday 2 October.
The analyses of the coroner Roberto Demontis, appointed by the prosecutor Marco Cocco, head of the investigation, will have to establish whether the cause of death was the head trauma suffered following a fall down the stairs - a slight wound to the head was found - or whether before falling Capone had suffered an illness that could have killed him.
The 43-year-old was found lifeless yesterday morning by a cleaning lady: he had decided to stay in the hotel after a day of celebrations for the baptism of a friend's son.
A happy event, which ended in drama.
