Accident in the early afternoon today on the Asse mediano in Cagliari, involving a Honda 125 scooter. The driver was an 18-year-old boy, who suffered a slight head injury but is not in serious condition . The incident occurred at the junction for via Is Guadazzonis, in the direction of Poetto. A very long queue immediately formed, over a kilometre long, with cars having to proceed at a very slow pace until regular traffic was restored.

Local police officers and an ambulance intervened on the scene: the driver of the scooter – who lost control of the vehicle – had to be transported to the Brotzu hospital .
