An attempted theft occurred in Cagliari's Stampace neighborhood, where a 23-year-old man was stopped by local police after stealing several bottles of perfume from a store.

The incident occurred during a patrol patrol's patrol operation. The alarm was raised when a woman attracted the officers' attention and reported seeing a man quickly run away after hiding several perfumes stolen from the store in his backpack. A search was immediately launched in the neighborhood streets and surrounding areas.

The young man was located shortly thereafter near the Piazza Matteotti station. Upon seeing the officers, he attempted to resist, but was stopped and searched. Five bottles of perfume were found in his backpack, which later turned out to be the ones stolen earlier.

The 23-year-old, already known to law enforcement for specific criminal convictions, was taken to the Regional Forensic Police Office for photo identification , then transferred to the local police headquarters for formal procedures. He was reported at large to the Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of theft and resisting a public officer.
