A 39-year-old unemployed man from Quartu , living in Selargius and already known to the police, was arrested last night for aggravated theft.

The arrest was made possible by a passerby's call to 112, who had noticed suspicious activity near the club . The operator then coordinated patrols so they could arrive on the scene without alerting the criminal.
The officers, who arrived within moments, caught the man inside the store rummaging through shelves. The thief offered no resistance and was immediately subdued and, after the usual formalities, placed under house arrest .
