Cabras, drunken car speeds: three English tourists barricade themselves in the B&B, the negotiator arrives

Three English tourists were reported by the Carabinieri for resisting a public official and one also for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The three were stopped last night in Cabras, where they were speeding through the streets of the town on board a car. The military intercepted the vehicle and subjected the driver to an alcohol test. Under the pretext of recovering their documents, the three, who were staying in a bed and breakfast, barricaded themselves inside.

The firefighters also intervened to open the door; it was also necessary to have a negotiator intervene to try to convince the three to remain calm.
