The intervention of the firefighters continues to tame the still burning outbreaks of the maxi-fire that developed on Friday afternoon in a warehouse of the SDL logistics company in Macchiareddu, Cagliari.
The flames broke out in the building and then moved to a second shed. Throughout the night, six teams from 115 from the Cagliari headquarters and two others arrived from the Elmas airport detachment worked to extinguish the flames.
The damage was enormous, with the flames that destroyed the two warehouses.
The carabinieri of the Uta Station and of the Iglesias Company also intervened on the spot.
Investigations started to clarify the origin of the fire. At the moment the hypothesis is that the fire was triggered by a short circuit.
