At the request of the Citizens' Road Committee, Cagliari Metropolitan City Councilor Omar Zaher has submitted an urgent request for the safety of the SP 21 road connecting Burcei to Campuomu , the only access road to the town.

A neglected road, long at the center of protests from citizens and the municipality.

In recent days, the same councilor, accompanied by several members of the citizens' committee, carried out an inspection , personally verifying the serious conditions of the road and the numerous critical issues reported by residents.

The inquiry lists all the major problems with the SP 21: a badly damaged road surface with potholes and dips, a lack of adequate road markings and road markings, torn and rusted guardrails in several sections, blocked gutters and drainage systems that cause flooding during heavy rains, and the lack of road barriers, making traffic dangerous.

The Committee expresses its moderate satisfaction, assuring that it will continue to push both to repair this road and to prompt the start of construction on the new Burcei-Sinnai-Maracalagonis link road. The project, approved and funded some time ago, prompted the local Committee to send a letter to the President of the Republic in recent days.
