"In these hours I have been overwhelmed with phone calls and messages of closeness and solidarity from Mayors and Mayors of all Sardinia, men and women of the institutions and many friends".
This was declared by the mayor of Bonorva, Massimo D'Agostino , the day after the attack suffered .
"I can't help but thank everyone from the bottom of my heart , with the hope that this experience will help to face and resolve, once and for all, a problem that has long afflicted and worried my community, my collaborators, but also many other towns in Sardinia - concludes the mayor -. The path is now marked out and, as far as I'm concerned, I will never stop crying out loudly for the need for Bonorva to regain her serenity ».
Even today, messages of solidarity with D'Agostino have arrived from citizens and authorities.
Yesterday, after the complaint, the attacker was arrested .
