Bonorva, a house burglary: thieves flee with €30,000

Burglars in the town center of Bonorva.

The theft is said to have occurred about a month ago, on the night between August 9th and 10th, and is said to have netted the criminals approximately thirty thousand euros . The incident has only now emerged.

The thieves reportedly forced open the front door and broke into the home . Some of the cash was kept inside the safe , while a large portion of the loot was taken from a glass jar and some from an ice bucket .

The man who was the victim of the theft then alerted the Carabinieri of the Bonorva station , who proceeded to carry out checks inside the house, looking for possible traces that could be useful to the investigation.

The Carabinieri reportedly found fingerprints that could be relevant to identifying the thieves.

The military is also examining video surveillance footage that may have captured the perpetrators in action.
