The "Benjamin Piercy Bolotana" cultural association, chaired by Mario Bussa , is organizing an important initiative to be held at Villa Piercy , on the Bolotana mountain, in the places chosen by the Welsh engineer Benjamin Piercy in the second half of the 19th century. "The presence of Benjamin Piercy in Sardinia" is the theme of the conference in which, tomorrow morning, starting at 10, in addition to the president of the union of Marghine Municipalities, Gian Pietro Arca, the mayor of Bolotana Francesco Manconi, the president of the Sardinia Foundation, Giacomo Spissu.

Scholars will intervene Luciano Carta, who will talk about the figure of Piercy as an entrepreneur, the historian Gianni Marilotti who will talk about Piercy's relationship with the Government, Giovanni Fiori, director of the university library of Sassari, who will make some considerations on the railways. Then intervene Gianfranco Ganau president of the pd group in the regional council, Giuseppe Talanas, president of the urban planning commission of the regional council and Pierluigi Saiu, councilor for public works.

The regional councilor for transport, Antonio Moro, closes the conference.
