Decimoputzu Mayor Antonino Munzittu is furious: "These days, residents have been suffering from the heat, and, as if that weren't enough, since Friday, many residents have been without power due to Enel's power outage." Munzittu continues: "On Friday evening, in one area of town, power was out until 4 a.m. Saturday. This forced businesses to close, resulting in significant economic losses. But above all," the mayor continues, "there have been inconveniences for the sick and for the entire population living in the area."
Power outages continued on Saturday: "This means that if the power is consistently out in the same neighborhood, there's a problem that needs to be addressed," Munzittu added. "It's unacceptable that these disruptions affect the most vulnerable. There are sick people who require medical and electrical equipment for treatment." The mayor's request: "I'm asking Enel to intervene to resolve these power outages so that there are no further disruptions. And if necessary, I'm asking for a generator to be installed in the substation so that, in the event of a power outage, all homes, both business owners and non-business owners, can be supplied."
