Beaten to pallets with stools: the inmate attacked in the cell died

Graziano Piana, the 54-year-old inmate attacked by his cellmate in the Bancali prison , did not make it.

The man died at the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari, where he was rushed to hospital after the beating.

From what has been learned, Piana was violently hit with a stool, due to circumstances under investigation.

Then the alarm and transport to the hospital, where the 54-year-old underwent surgery. But the operation did not save his life.

Now the position of his attacker, a young man of 27, is getting worse.
