The preliminary hearing judge of the Tempio Tribunal, Alessandro Cossu, has sent the worker from Lurese Fabio Malu to trial.
The prosecutor Alessandro Bosco had requested the trial for the events that occurred in July 2023 in Luras. Malu, according to the prosecutor, killed his rival Davide Unida by hitting him repeatedly with the handle of a vacuum cleaner.
The substitute Alessandro Bosco contested the aggravating circumstance of the futile reasons, thus closing the way to a possible abbreviated trial.
Malu's lawyer, criminal lawyer Giampaolo Murrighile, made his requests. For the defense, it is not a case of voluntary homicide . Davide Unida's family is being assisted by lawyer Sergio Milia. The trial will begin in April before the judges of the Court of Assizes of Sassari.
