A pot of boiling water fell on her, causing second-degree burns to her chest and legs.

A 9-month-old German baby girl, on vacation with her family at a campsite in Bari Sardo, was transported by Areus helicopter to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari. The incident occurred around 6:00 PM today.

A 118 crew intervened on site and, in light of the dynamics of the facts, the Sassari operations centre activated Echo Lima 1, which took off from the Olbia base.

The little girl was admitted to the Pediatric Surgery ward. Her condition is reassuring.
