With a leap forward of 11 positions in one year , the 7 Pines Sardinia climbs the ranking of the best resorts in Europe . Confirming itself more and more at the top. The Baja Sardinia resort was in fact awarded at the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2024, going from 25th to 14th place after just one season.

The prestigious award is the result of a vote by more than half a million Condé Nast Traveller readers around the world who submitted ratings and comments, sharing their recent travel experiences. Nominations for the hotel category are assigned based on a variety of criteria, including location, service, food and atmosphere, while the 2024 ranking, made official in early October, will appear in the magazine's November issue.

«It's wonderful to be considered among the best resorts in Europe according to an authoritative magazine like Condé Nast Traveller: as a group we are very happy, and the goal is to continue climbing the rankings , hoping to be able to reach the top over time», says an enthusiastic Vito Spalluto, managing director of the 7 Pines Resort Sardinia.

"Our recipe is a lot of passion from everyone , horizontal communication and involving the entire work team in the project. When we started in January 2022 - says Spalluto - 7 Pines was an open construction site, and when we opened on August 1 of the same year we only had half of the rooms in the facility available, but we knew we could compensate with the service offered. Also because I am resilient by nature, and therefore inclined to face a problem as if it were an opportunity".

Meanwhile, the season, which began on April 16, is not over yet. "We close on October 21, and we are at 91 percent of the resort's occupancy. This year since opening we have never gone below 70 percent, so I can safely say that the season has been a success," adds the director, who is already thinking about 2025. "We will continue with the gastronomic projects of Spazio by Franco Pepe (fresh from the title of best pizza chef in the world for The best Pizza Awards 2024, ed.) and Capogiro, our gourmet restaurant that became part of the Michelin Italy guide this year, and which we want to be increasingly rooted in the territory with zero-mile products."

But that's not all. "There's the Cone Club, with new features coming soon, and we're thinking about programs aimed at social issues and the zero-waste policy, and new sporting events, for guests and outsiders. Because 7 Pines - concludes Spalluto - is a resort with open doors."
