A broad mobilization is emerging from local communities regarding the future of the Badu 'e Carros prison and its potential exclusive use for inmates under the 41-bis regime, a topic of significant institutional, social, and regional impact. To discuss the issue publicly, the Nuoro City Council has been convened for a public session tomorrow, January 9th, at 3:30 PM, not at City Hall but in the conference room of the Nuoro Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting promises to be well attended, given the attention the issue has generated and the relevance of the debate that has developed in recent weeks. Other local municipal administrations will also participate in the meeting. Among these, the Municipality of Oliena has announced its presence, reiterating the importance of a shared discussion on a decision destined to have direct implications for local communities. Members of Parliament are also expected to attend, confirming the national political weight the issue has assumed. Alessandra Todde, President of the Sardinia Region, will also attend the meeting, her presence further strengthening the institutional profile of the initiative and underscoring the centrality of the issue in the relationship between the State, the Region, and the local authorities.

Parking is prohibited on Via Papandrea, from the intersection with Via Deffenu to Via Salaris, on the left side of the road, and also on Via Deffenu, from the intersection with Via Papandrea, on the right side of the road.
