The Decentralized Civil Protection Functional Center of the Sardinia Region has issued an alert for hydrogeological risk with orange code (moderate criticality) and yellow code (ordinary criticality) for hydrogeological risk due to thunderstorms in the warning areas Iglesiente, Campidano, Montevecchio Pischinappiu, Flumendosa Flumineddu, Tirso, Gallura and Logudoro. The alert is valid from 2pm today until 12 noon tomorrow 13 October .

For this afternoon, rains and thunderstorms are expected throughout the island. The Arpas weather report foresees cloudy or very cloudy skies with predominantly thunderstorm rainfall with locally high cumulations. Weak or moderate winds from the eastern quadrants on the northern sectors, weak variables elsewhere. Wavy seas or locally very wavy.

For tomorrow , Thursday 13 October , the Arpas foresees cloudy skies with isolated rainfall, also of a downpour or thunderstorm character, running out from late morning and from the northern sectors. Possible isolated strong thunderstorms in the morning on the northern sectors. Minimum temperatures slightly decreasing, maximum temperatures slightly increasing, locally sensitive in the northern sectors. Weak or moderate winds from the northern quadrants. The seas are rough.
