The post office in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Orune reopens today, after the temporary closure ordered to allow for investigations following the attempted robbery that occurred on Wednesday 30 April.

Before closing time in the morning, a man with his face covered broke into the premises trying to commit a robbery. During the action, he grabbed an employee, and then ran away without managing to take anything. The police intervened promptly on the scene, and began investigations to identify the person responsible. The Carabinieri immediately carried out numerous searches

With today's reopening, the office is fully operational again, also ensuring the regular payment of May pensions, in line with what happens in the other 82 post offices in the province of Nuoro.

The Orune office is open from Monday to Friday from 8.20 to 13.45 and on Saturday until 12.45. Poste Italiane confirms its commitment to guaranteeing continuity, efficiency and safety in the services offered to citizens.
