Attacks, insults, requests for money, throwing bottles. The students who live on the university campus in Viale La Plaia in Cagliari are afraid.

The cursed stretch goes from the intersection of Via Sassari to the entrance of the student house, where the switched off street lamps create the optimal conditions for ambushes. Not a day goes by without an episode of violence. This certainly cannot be the right climate for those who ask only to study in peace.
Anna Meledina, 25, from Ozieri, studies History. "The main problem on the university campus is security. Also on Sunday evening a visibly drunk man managed to enter the building: he was screaming and threatening those present. Luckily the police and the ambulance arrived quickly and resolved the situation. For us - adds the student - these are unfortunately scenes of daily madness".
What are you asking? "They should strengthen the security service, a single security guard cannot be enough to keep the situation under control."
