A theft that strikes at the heart of Sardinian culture. Today around 8:30 PM, in Assemini on Via Liguria, the Iveco van with license plate CA691118 was stolen. This historic vehicle has for years housed the Traveling Museum dedicated to Andrea Parodi , the unforgettable voice of Tazenda and one of Sardinian music's most beloved artists.
The vehicle, recognizable by its customized exterior and easily distinguishable from the artistic decorations associated with the museum project, represents not only a means of transport but also a true cultural treasure chest, preserving memories, images, and tools linked to Parodi's legacy.
The Andrea Parodi Foundation , the promoter of the traveling museum, has launched an urgent appeal via social media: anyone who saw the van circulating after the time of the theft or has useful information is asked to contact us by writing to fondazione.andreaparodi@gmail.com or by sending a private report.
Over the years, the Andrea Parodi Traveling Museum has brought the story and songs of the Cagliari-born singer-songwriter to Sardinia and Italy, introducing younger generations, especially, to the artistic and cultural legacy he left behind. "The loss of this vehicle takes on a particularly painful significance, both symbolic and material," explains the Foundation's staff.
Law enforcement has been alerted and investigations are underway to trace the van.
