Assemini: the pain of Giacomo's girlfriend, who died in an accident. "We wanted to get married and have children"

Giacomo Puddu was 23 years old, killed in the accident on Provincial Road 92 in Macchiareddu while returning home after work on Tuesday evening on his scooter.

“Our dream was to get married and have children. And we wanted to do it soon. We said to ourselves that our grandparents should have had time to get to know them», says Jenny Tronci, his 19-year-old girlfriend, in tears, in front of the mortuary of the Assemini cemetery.

A dream that could soon come true, Giacomo had found a stable job as a welder. In December he was to sign the permanent contract, a fundamental step in fulfilling the couple's wishes, which crashed against a tanker on provincial road 92, while Giacomo was traveling those few kilometers that separated him from his beloved Jenny, with whom he had chose to live in Decimomannu.
