An illegal landfill of waste on an agricultural land located along the state road 130, in Assemini. This is what the Carabinieri discovered after some investigations on the properties of a local company owned by a 53-year-old entrepreneur from Quartu Sant'Elena.

The woman, administrator of the company and therefore considered responsible for unauthorized management and illegal burning of waste, was reported at large . According to what emerged, in the agricultural area, bulky and special urban waste, mainly of a plastic nature, had been disposed of through unauthorized burning.

The seizure of the area of approximately 300 square meters used for illegal activities was also carried out , as well as the waste found on site. The total value of the seizure was estimated at approximately 10,000 euros.

The next decisions on the activities to be carried out in the area will be taken by the Judicial Authority that coordinates the investigations of the NOE of Cagliari.
