Assemini, accident on the 130: car partially destroyed in collision with a truck

Cagliari firefighters responded to a traffic accident on state highway 130, at kilometer 12. The crash occurred shortly after the second traffic light in Assemini , heading towards Iglesias.

For reasons yet to be determined, a truck and a car were involved, the latter being destroyed at the rear . The driver of the car was rescued by 118 and transported to the hospital, fortunately not in serious condition. The driver of the heavy vehicle was uninjured.

Firefighters secured the vehicles and the area. The Highway Patrol was also on site to conduct routine surveys.
