Accident this morning in via Sardegna in Assemini . A 74-year-old man, around 8:30, was crossing the pedestrian crossing in one of the busiest streets in the town when a vehicle hit him .

The driver immediately stopped to help the unfortunate man , who suffered a head injury with a head wound .

The local police and 118 personnel intervened on site.

The India nursing ambulance of Decimomannu transported the injured man to the Brotzu hospital with red code.
