A real war arsenal for the Sardinian gang. This is what was found and seized by the Carabinieri of the Livorno investigative unit, in relation to the assault on the armored vehicles in San Vincenzo on March 28 , during the execution of the precautionary custody order of the investigating judge that began in the early hours of yesterday in the provinces of Nuoro, Pisa and Bologna against the 11 arrested ( here are the names ). A three million euro hit that seemed planned down to the smallest details, but which instead in just under two months led to yesterday's blitz .

The group that committed the assault on the two armored vans on the Aurelia variant had 5 rifles, 1 pistol, 1,500 cartridges of various calibers seized, some already inserted in magazines, including many "war" ones for Ak47 Kalashnikov, the type of weapon used in the assault, as the carabinieri explained. Also seized were several smartphones, including burner phones, without internet connection .

Over 200 grams of military explosives and 1.5 kg of civilian explosives of the quarry type were found and seized, as well as 5 fuses, 2 of which were more dangerous, of the detonating type . Approximately 20,000 euros in cash and clothing that the military believe was used in the assault, including balaclavas and bulletproof vests, were seized.

Also decisive in turning the investigation around were the videos taken by witnesses at the time of the attack , which had filmed some phases of the robbery and allowed us to detect the group's Sardinian accent.
