Offshore wind energy will be the delicate topic that the Municipal Administration of Arzachena, in collaboration with the Gallura Coordination against wind speculation, will bring to the attention of citizens and local and non-local economic operators.

The meeting will be held on Saturday 17 May at 11 am in the Sala Nexus in via San Pietro, next to the town hall, in the historic centre of the town. An important topic, considering the rather burning issue that will be addressed, for which, writes the municipal administration, «it is time to be informed, aware and united». Undoubtedly, a significant participation of people is expected in a debate that is announced, writes the municipal administration, as «a moment of necessary discussion to clarify what is happening: projects of great impact on our sea and our territory are proceeding towards approval, without real involvement of local authorities and, in part, of the Sardinia Region itself. The choices that are emerging will have profound consequences on the environment, on the economy, on safety and on the quality of life in Gallura».

The intention of the organizers of the event is not only to know, study, compare, debate, but also to "understand together what actions to take to protect our territory".
