Starting today, July 15th, responsible access to Le Piscine beach, a measure introduced by the Ragnedda Administration to protect the coast from erosion caused by excessive human activity, will last until August 31st . Anyone wishing to use the beach must reserve a parking space in the municipal parking lot starting 72 hours before their desired date by showing the QR code to the staff . Each car can accommodate up to 5 people, for a total of 80 people on the beach.
The measure was presented on site yesterday morning by Tourism Councilor Claudia Giagoni. " It's a measure of responsibility toward our community and our visitors and tourists . We firmly believe that our coastlines must be protected, and the Piscine coastline is certainly going through a very delicate environmental moment. It's therefore necessary to protect it with these measures, trying to make people understand the importance of respecting our environment."
This measure, the councilor announced, will likely continue next year and will be extended to other coastlines using the same method. "At this stage, there will be a municipal-level study, and then we will be supported by companies that conduct environmental studies."
